Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to a report by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) correspondent in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Autumn Electronics Fair and the International Electronic Components and Manufacturing Technology Fair were held from October 13th to 16th at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, attracting approximately 3,200 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions. Representatives from the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade stationed in Hong Kong and Macau set up a Vietnamese booth at the fair to introduce Vietnam's potential and advantages in this field, as well as its international cooperation needs.
Ms. Vu Thi Thuy, Deputy Consul General and Chief Representative of the Commercial Section of Vietnam in Hong Kong, stated that Vietnam is encouraging the development of industries such as electricity, electronics, clean energy, green energy, and the semiconductor industry. This year, Vietnam's booth mainly showcased Vietnam's business and investment environment and the prospects of this industrial sector, facilitating visits and understanding for Hong Kong and international clients. Ms. Vu Thi Thuy expressed her hope that Vietnamese power electronics products would quickly penetrate the Hong Kong market.
Andrew Ho, a tourist from Hong Kong, stated that Vietnam is a dynamic market in Asia, attracting many investors. His company also plans to seek potential partners in Vietnam. At this fair, he learned about numerous investment opportunities and Vietnamese power electronics products.
This exhibition not only showcased the latest technological achievements but also provided an excellent platform for promoting industry exchange, fostering industry development, and seeking business opportunities and cooperation. It offered a technological feast for global buyers, met societal needs, and led future technological trends.
The Science and Technology Museum returned this year with multiple exhibition areas, allowing exhibitors to more effectively showcase various high-tech electronic products and related innovative technologies. This year's event added an Artificial Intelligence and Voice Recognition Technology exhibition area, presenting many new technological products, such as a real-time translation headset supporting 30 languages. Other key exhibition areas in the Science and Technology Museum covered robotics and unmanned operation technology, 3D printing, smart technology, virtual reality, and a startup zone. This year, the Science and Technology Museum also featured the Nanjing 5G Pavilion for the first time, showcasing 5G applications in various aspects such as industry and home use. These included a 5G-compatible industrial robotic arm, which, after being connected to a 5G network, would receive messages and task commands more promptly and sensitively, making operations smoother; and a 3D holographic smart screen, where 5G's ultra-high-speed wireless transmission would make 3D images more realistic.
This year, the Startup Zone attracted over 120 tech elites from Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, Russia, Taiwan, the UK, the US, and Vietnam, showcasing the latest augmented reality and virtual reality applications, big data, consumer electronics, digital commerce, e-health, electronic components and manufacturing technologies, IoT applications, robotics and artificial intelligence, smart homes, and wearable electronics. To comprehensively promote startup development, the event featured a series of dedicated startup activities.
It is understood that during the exhibition, the organizing committee will also host startup investment matchmaking sessions, the Hong Kong Technology Innovation Competition, business mentoring sessions, and startup presentations, allowing startups to promote their innovative ideas, garner investor support, and learn from experts on business development.
