
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The awards ceremony for the “Smart Housing, Innovative Future – Building Robot Design Competition,” organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Housing Bureau, was held in Hong Kong on the 6th. The competition integrated innovative concepts into the education field, encouraging students to inject innovative energy into Hong Kong's public housing sector.
Held in October this year, the competition attracted participation from over 15 schools in Hong Kong, with 1 to 5 students in each category. One champion, one runner-up, one second runner-up, and four merit awards were selected.
In his speech at the awards ceremony, Mr. Tai Sheung-shing, Deputy Secretary for Housing of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, stated that the participants' innovative talents in the field of smart buildings have injected new vitality into Hong Kong's construction industry. He hoped that the participants' works could be implemented in Hong Kong's construction industry, innovation and technology sector, and various other fields, contributing the power of youth to Hong Kong.
Following this, Mr. Tai and the judging panel presented certificates and scholarships to the winners. Hong Kong Kowloon Tong Christian Alliance Church Cheng Wing Middle School won the championship, Pui Kiu Middle School won the runner-up, and Fung Kai No. 1 Middle School won the third place. The four Outstanding Achievement Awards were presented to the Hong Kong Si Yiu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chan Nam Cheong Memorial Secondary School, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Kap Yin Year Prime Minister Secondary School, Maryknoll Secondary School, and Sik Sik Yuen-sponsored Ke Tao Secondary School.
