  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Amidst the festive atmosphere of welcoming the 2026 New Year, the Vietnamese community in Malaysia hosted the “2026 Vietnamese Lunar New Year Food Festival” on January 1st at the Green Field Resort in Selangor. The three-day event not only showcased the essence of Vietnamese cuisine but also served as a platform for cultural exchange, community cohesion, and promoting Vietnam's image to international friends.

  At the opening ceremony, Tran Thi Trang, President of the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association, emphasized that the Vietnamese Lunar New Year Food Festival, in the context of international integration, has contributed to the preservation and dissemination of traditional Vietnamese cultural values. Organizing committee representative Tran Thi Tuyet Trinh stated that the event is of great significance for uniting the Vietnamese community in Malaysia and lays the foundation for expansion in the coming years. This year's event attracted active participation from numerous Vietnamese and Malaysian businesses, who brought diverse products and created a lively shopping atmosphere.

  Participating businesses believed that the food festival was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, connect with, and understand the international market. Nguyen Duc Tien, a representative from the Vietnamese organizers, stated that this was a good opportunity for domestic enterprises to accumulate practical experience in overseas market development. Many companies expressed their hope to explore new avenues of cooperation and development through this event.
