Approximately 500 people participated, including staff from environmental protection, forestry, and literary and art circles, as well as representatives from the public.
It is understood that this event was hosted by the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. The event aimed to deeply protect, explore, and utilize the ecological and cultural value of the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains (Xi'an section), promote Qinling culture, and drive the creative transformation and innovative development of Qinling's cultural value.
It is understood that the "Ancestral Qinling Mountains, Poetic Chang'an" themed cultural event was divided into three chapters: "The Ancestral Vein of China: Eternal Glory," "The Central Water Tower: Benefiting the World," and "Cultural Symbol: A Grand and Enduring Path." Through the creation and performance of various art forms such as dance, poetry recitation, situational performances, song singing, and Qinqiang opera, the entire performance was cleverly arranged and seamlessly executed, showcasing the unique characteristics of Qinling culture.
According to reports, Xi'an has successively issued a series of policies and regulations, including the Qinling Ecological Environment Protection Regulations, plans, and "positive and negative lists," making the integrated "air, space, and human" protection of the Qinling Mountains more precise and intelligent. The "four pillars and eight beams" of Qinling protection have been further improved, and the system and mechanism for protecting the Qinling Mountains in accordance with laws and regulations are gradually being established.
Meanwhile, Xi'an has carried out a special rectification and upgrading campaign for agritainment (homestays), implemented the strictest water resource protection, and continuously promoted the integrated protection and restoration of the main mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands, and deserts on the northern slopes of the Qinling Mountains. Especially in terms of "smart mountain control," a comprehensive management and control platform integrating "vertical connection + horizontal integration," "real-time early warning + command and dispatch," and "air, space, and network + online and offline" has been created, placing Xi'an at the forefront in the province and even the country.
Furthermore, Xi'an actively practices the "Two Mountains" theory (lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets), establishing a special working group to deeply explore the ecological and cultural value of the northern slopes of the Qinling Mountains, coordinating the promotion of the ecological and cultural value of the Qinling Mountains, and developing cultural brands such as the Huyi Mangba Art Festival, Chang'an Daoqing (a type of folk opera), and Zhouzhi's "Qinling, Qin People, Qin Sounds," helping Xi'an to build a world-class cultural capital showcasing Chinese civilization.
