Following this, it will tour 13 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Wuhan, using music to strengthen Sino-French cultural interaction and promote international exchange and dialogue.
That evening, the Kunming performance was held near a university town, with a cultural market set up where music lovers could sample French beer, bread, crepes, and other delicacies, as well as purchase CDs of Yunnan ethnic music. The French band Toukan Toukän and artist Voyou performed upbeat pop songs, getting the audience dancing along; while the Yunnan-based bands Manhu and Wuya Temple presented unique ethnic music, captivating the French audience.
