Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On June 18, 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director General of the International Organizations Department of Thailand, met with Ms. Tanga Pasifiko, Head of the Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Thailand. This meeting was arranged at the request of Ms. Tanga Pasifiko after assuming her post.
Both sides highly praised the current achievements of cooperation between Thailand and the IOM, and unanimously acknowledged the close collaboration and effectiveness in areas such as the protection and repatriation of victims of human trafficking and humanitarian assistance in border areas with neighboring countries. They also engaged in in-depth discussions on further deepening cooperation, focusing on specific directions and feasible pathways for strengthening joint efforts to combat human trafficking in the context of online fraud. They exchanged views on areas of common concern, laying the foundation for further expanding the depth of cooperation and refining collaborative measures.
