
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) From May 5th to 6th, 2026, His Excellency Artayud Srisamut, Special Envoy of the Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs, held bilateral talks with His Excellency Mnatsakan Safaryan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and His Excellency Anushik Avetyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, within the framework of the Third Yerevan Dialogue held in Yerevan, Armenia.

During the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, both sides highly affirmed the positive progress achieved in the first Thai-Armenian political consultations in 2025 and exchanged in-depth views on expanding cooperation in areas such as trade, tourism, capacity building, and cultural exchanges. The Armenian side expressed its willingness to further strengthen bilateral friendly and cooperative relations with Thailand.

During the talks with the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, both sides focused on exploring opportunities for trade, investment, agriculture, gems and jewelry, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and labor services. Thailand sought Armenia's understanding and support regarding the proposed Thailand-EU Free Trade Agreement, to which Armenia responded positively and expressed its support. Both sides agreed that deepening bilateral business exchanges and strengthening technological cooperation are crucial for the mutually beneficial development of both countries.
