Thailand hosts the first meeting of the UN Framework Working Group on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On April 9, 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations of Thailand, chaired the first meeting of the Working Group on Thailand's Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development within the UN Framework. Representatives from approximately 70 relevant government agencies and UN agencies attended the meeting.

  At the meeting, the Working Group focused on reviewing and advancing the drafting of four guiding documents. These documents will provide overall guidance for Thailand's development cooperation with the UN from 2027 to 2031, specifically including: * *UN Framework for Cooperation on Sustainable Development in Thailand (2027-2031)* * *UNFPA Thailand's Thirteenth National Programme Document (2027-2031)* * *UNDP Thailand National Programme Document (2027-2031)* * *UNICEF Thailand National Programme Document (2027-2031)* The meeting aimed to promote a precise alignment between the UN's work plan in Thailand and Thailand's national development priorities and practical needs, helping Thailand steadily advance the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals over the next five years.
