Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Bangkok, March 27, 2026 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) successfully held the “2026 China-Thailand Tourism, Culture and Arts Festival” at the Centennial Park of Chulalongkorn University. The event, held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, attracted over a thousand guests, showcasing Thailand's unique wellness products and cultural heritage, and further deepening exchanges and cooperation between China and Thailand in the tourism and cultural fields.

Ms. Thapane Kittappur, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, attended the event and delivered a speech. She stated, “This festival fully demonstrates Thailand’s core advantages as a high-quality health tourism destination, deeply integrating culture and wellness. We leverage this platform to continuously strengthen tourism ties between Thailand and China, creating wellness journeys for tourists that combine experiential learning with cultural depth, precisely meeting the growing demand for holistic well-being, healthy living, and authentic cultural experiences.”

Mr. Yang Xiaolong, Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, along with a professional judging panel composed of representatives from both China and Thailand, attended the event and oversaw the selection process for the performances.

The festival, themed “Eternal Youth in the Heart of Thailand,” transformed Chulalongkorn University Centennial Park into an immersive wellness garden. Through a diverse blend of artistic performances, cultural displays, and traditional knowledge experiences, it comprehensively conveyed the concept of a healthy lifestyle. The event was jointly organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, its five overseas offices in China, and several key partners, aiming to precisely attract the increasingly sophisticated Chinese tourist group with a growing focus on wellness experiences.

The festival featured a rich and diverse program, combining cultural characteristics with artistic expression: the contemporary dance piece "Mor Lam Genesis," a fusion of traditional Thai folk art and modern dance, made a stunning debut, followed by a large-scale interactive dance set to the song "City of Bangkok," bringing the atmosphere to a climax; eight dance teams from China competed fiercely in two rounds, with a professional judging panel determining the winners; the evening's youth performance was a highlight, symbolizing the friendship between China and Thailand, with a clever blend of Chinese violin playing and singing in Thai and Mandarin, showcasing the beauty of cultural exchange between the two countries.

Health and wellness were the core experiential section of the festival, with interactive workshops and demonstrations covering diverse topics such as health screenings, Thai spa treatments, herbal product making, traditional Thai massage, and Muay Thai, allowing guests to experience the essence of Thai wellness culture firsthand. The cultural handicrafts exhibition area showcased Thai folk creativity, while the on-site cooking station presented a variety of Thai delicacies, from classic street food to herbal medicinal dishes and traditional Thai desserts, comprehensively showcasing the unique charm of Thai culinary culture.

The 2026 China-Thailand Tourism, Culture and Arts Festival is an important practical implementation of the Tourism Authority of Thailand's "Health and Wellness" strategy. Through this event, Thailand has further solidified its core position as a high-quality tourist destination and a preferred long-term travel destination for China, injecting new vitality into China-Thailand cooperation in culture, tourism, and wellness.
