His Excellency Rada Pumas, Thai Ambassador to Malaysia, Mr. Pasik Chutabude, Consul General of Kota Bharu, and relevant officials from the Thai Mission to Malaysia attended the event, gathering with 14 representatives from 9 Thai companies operating in Malaysia for in-depth and pragmatic communication and exchanges in a dinner setting.

In her remarks, Ambassador Rada Pumas pointed out that the Thailand Business Exchange Meeting has been held for three consecutive years, with the core purpose of building an efficient communication bridge between the Thai business community and the Thai Embassy and Mission in Malaysia. This initiative is highly aligned with Thailand's "multidimensional diplomacy" and "outcome-oriented economic diplomacy (3Cs)." She emphasized that this policy aims to deepen transnational trust building, enhance Thailand's overseas competitiveness, promote regional cooperation and partnership upgrades, and ultimately effectively advance Thailand's various development interests overseas through government-business collaboration.

During the exchange session, officials from the Thai Embassy in Malaysia and the delegation, along with representatives from Thai businesses, exchanged views on topics such as business expansion in Malaysia and market environment adaptation. They shared practical experience in business operations and jointly discussed the real challenges faced by the private sector, including supply chain stability and policy adaptation, against the backdrop of complex geopolitics and geoeconomic fluctuations. The entire meeting was positive and pragmatic, reaching many points of consensus and providing insights for resolving practical issues.

At the end of the event, Ambassador Rada Pumas expressed his sincere gratitude to the Thai business community for its long-term support of the Thai institutions in Malaysia. He solemnly reiterated that the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur will continue to play a bridging role, providing necessary support and services to Thai businesses in Malaysia, while also effectively protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Thai citizens residing in Malaysia, and safeguarding the overseas expansion of Thai businesses and people-to-people exchanges between Thailand and Malaysia.

This exchange not only built an important platform for government-business cooperation among Thai businesses in Malaysia but also put Thailand's economic diplomacy philosophy into practice with concrete actions, injecting new impetus into the continued deepening of Thai-Malaysian economic and trade cooperation.
