  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 12th Thailand-Singapore Technology Cooperation Conference (TCM) was successfully held from March 4th to 5th, 2026. The conference was co-chaired by Chuwat Narintlangura, Director General of the Thai Agency for International Cooperation (TICA), and Chen Ruolin, Director General of the Development Partnerships Division (DPD) of the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  Both sides reviewed the implementation results of trilateral cooperation under the Third Country Training Programme (TCTP) framework and discussed the cooperation work plan for 2027. The conference emphasized strengthening the impact assessment of cooperative projects and continuously improving the quality and effectiveness of training program implementation. Both sides highly appreciated the long-term and stable technology partnership between Thailand and Singapore, noting that 2027 will mark the 30th anniversary of trilateral cooperation between the two countries.

  The Singaporean delegation also arranged for a site visit to the Punggol Digital Park to gain a deeper understanding of Singapore's smart city development practices. This park focuses on the integration of digital technology and innovation, encompassing cutting-edge fields such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain, and fintech, and is committed to creating diversified smart living solutions.

  The Thailand-Singapore Technical Cooperation Conference is an annual meeting, chaired alternately by the two countries. Thailand is the only partner country in Southeast Asia for the Thai-New Technology Cooperation Mechanism (TCTP), demonstrating the two countries' firm commitment to promoting sustainable development by focusing on institutional capacity building and human resource development. In 2027, Thailand will host the 13th Thai-New Technology Cooperation Conference and jointly organize commemorative events with Singapore to celebrate the 30th anniversary of technical cooperation between the two countries.
