  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On February 27, 2026, His Excellency Sihasak Puangkchok, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, briefed members of the diplomatic corps in Thailand and representatives of international organizations on Thailand's recent diplomatic activities and achievements.

  From February 23 to 24, 2026, the Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs visited France and Switzerland, during which he met with officials from various countries and representatives of international organizations such as UNESCO, and addressed the high-level meeting of the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council. The visit aimed to deepen bilateral cooperation, promote cultural exchanges, and exchange views on multilateral cooperation and regional development. It also highlighted Thailand's significant progress in the field of human rights, focusing on its work and achievements in combating online fraud that violates human rights. The Minister reiterated Thailand's commitment to a ceasefire and emphasized the importance of easing tensions on the Thai-Cambodian border and building mutual trust.

  Furthermore, the Minister briefed the delegation on the outcomes of his meeting with His Excellency U Than Shwe, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, in Phuket on February 18, 2026. The two sides held in-depth discussions on proposals for the orderly resumption of contact between ASEAN and Myanmar, Thailand's support for Myanmar's peace process, and cooperation in addressing cross-border challenges.

  A total of 83 members of diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations from 62 countries, the European Union, and 2 international organizations attended the briefing.
