  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On February 25, 2026, the Thai Ministry of European Affairs and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) held a special meeting to discuss a tourism promotion plan for the European market. The meeting was co-chaired by Ms. Sonrudi Purnanak, Acting Minister of European Affairs, and Ms. Chirawati Kunsup, Deputy Director of the TAT in charge of Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa.

  At the meeting, the TAT provided a detailed introduction to its tourism promotion plan targeting the European market. This plan aims to further strengthen collaboration between the Ministry of European Affairs and relevant Thai embassies and consulates abroad, and to achieve more solid and effective results in tourism promotion. Both sides clarified key areas of cooperation, including developing strategies for Thailand's core and potential tourist destinations and precisely expanding into various target tourism markets.

  In addition, participants exchanged views on the potential impact of the international geopolitical landscape on the tourism industry, as well as visa policies between Thailand and European countries.
