Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On February 17, 2026, a delegation from the European Commission to Thailand, led by the European Affairs Department of the European Union, paid a special visit to the Royal Thai Police Anti-Cyber Fraud Operations Center (ACSC). The core purpose of this visit was to deepen practical cooperation between the two sides in preventing and combating cyber fraud and transnational cybercrime, and to build consensus on collaborative governance.

During the visit, the delegation held talks with Major General Puttipong Musikul, Deputy Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation of Thailand, exchanging in-depth views on cooperation in related fields. The delegation also visited the ACSC's core operational facilities, focusing on the "Operations Room" hub, which integrates real-time monitoring, data analysis, and coordinated response. The ACSC detailed its innovative "one-stop service" operating model—a model that integrates law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and other relevant stakeholders into a unified collaborative framework, enabling timely and efficient handling of case acceptance, fund tracking, account and asset freezing, and victim assistance, providing full-chain support for combating cyber fraud. During the talks, both sides focused on emerging trends and evolving methods of cybercrime, and explored specific avenues for cooperation, including strengthening information sharing, capacity building, and enhancing cross-border law enforcement coordination. This interaction fully demonstrated Thailand and the EU's shared responsibility and firm commitment to upholding international rule of law, strengthening cybersecurity defenses, and protecting the public from the threats of digital-age crime, laying a solid foundation for further deepening transnational cooperation.
