According to reports, these Thai citizens illegally entered Cambodia through Malai district in Banteay Meanchey province in search of work. After intercepting them, Cambodian police have ordered them to leave and return to Thailand.
Since Thailand unilaterally closed its border crossings with Cambodia and implemented strict entry restrictions, the daily lives of Thai citizens have been severely affected.
