Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the morning of August 1, 2025, the Thai military officially transferred two Cambodian soldiers who had been previously kidnapped to Cambodia through the Oddar Meanchey border crossing.

It is understood that one of the soldiers was injured in a conflict, and the other has mental health issues. Their ages are 37 and 53 respectively.

The planned release of 18 Cambodian soldiers that day was delayed. The commander of the Thai Second Military Region announced a postponement of the transfer, explaining that the interrogation work had not yet been completed.
