Ultimately, the Unitree Beijing Lingyi Technology Team won the championship with a time of 6 minutes and 34 seconds, securing the first gold medal of the Games. The winning robot was the Unitree H1, the same model used in the Yangko dance performance at this year's Spring Festival Gala.
It is reported that over 40 teams competed in the 1500-meter final, divided into 11 groups. Each group had either 4 or 3 teams competing simultaneously, with a penalty for crossing lanes. No penalty was imposed for crossing within five steps on a curve, but a second crossing resulted in a five-second penalty.
