
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – PBM Minerals (PBM) honored 308 long-serving employees at its 2025 Long Service Awards ceremony, recognizing their continued dedication and loyalty to the company's Lao operations.
The series of award ceremonies were held on December 2nd in Phu Kham, December 3rd in Ban Hui Xai, and December 9th in the Vientiane office. Among them, 135 employees with 10 years of service, 155 with 15 years, and 18 senior employees with 20 years of service received special recognition.
This year marks the eleventh Long Service Awards, established in accordance with the "FAITH" philosophy (Focus, Action, Innovation, Technology, People) of its parent company, Guangdong Rising Holdings Group (GDRH), guiding the company's growth into a diversified and responsible enterprise, creating sustainable value for Laos and the surrounding region.
As a member of PanAust and GDRH, PBM upholds the philosophy that "employees are the greatest asset," believing that employee skills and dedication are the core cornerstones of the company's safe and efficient operation and its contribution to the development of Laos. PBM has invested over US$1.1 billion in Laos. This recognition underscores employee appreciation for the company's investment in training and safety, and underscores its status as Laos' "preferred employer." Currently, the company employs over 3,500 people (93% of whom are Lao nationals), with an additional 1,000 contract workers.
Regarding social responsibility, in addition to its core mining operations, PBM has contributed over US$1.18 billion in direct economic benefits to the Lao government and generated US$3.5 billion in indirect benefits through multi-party collaborations, fully supporting the sustainable economic development of Laos.
