Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On October 31, 2025, the 2025-2026 Qinghai Province Winter and Spring Cultural Tourism Benefit Activities, themed "Meet in Beautiful Qinghai, Enjoy the Splendor of Winter and Spring," kicked off in Xining.

On the day of the event, a special tourism product display area featuring products from Liaoning, Hainan, Chongqing, and other regions was set up, along with a themed market showcasing winter and spring tourism products, hot spring health resort projects, winter and spring sports products, and Qinghai's green and organic agricultural and livestock products, comprehensively presenting the new look of Qinghai's winter and spring cultural tourism integration.

Ma Jingang, Deputy Director of the Qinghai Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, introduced that from the dreamlike ice sculptures of Xining to the ice and snow carnival in Haibei, from the rich festive atmosphere of "Qinghai Year, the Most Haidong" in Haidong, to the mysterious "Yutu" folk customs of Regong in Huangnan, to the sincere invitations of "Sacred Hainan" and "Zhejiang and Qinghai Drawing a Circle of Unity" in Hainan and Haixi, as well as the vibrant marathon integrating "culture + sports" in Yushu and the wonderful intangible cultural heritage performances in Guoluo, all parts of Qinghai are ready and waiting for tourists to visit.

It is understood that the Qinghai cultural and tourism departments have launched five special routes: the classic "Exploring the Wonders of the Vast Desert" route, the "Hehuang Ancient Road Joyful Ice and Snow Tour," the "Hehuang Folk Customs Exploration and Experience Tour," the "Sunrise Beauty Chasing Tour," the "Hot Spring Bathing and Health Leisure Tour," and the "Qilian Mountain-Lenglongling Hiking Route." The aforementioned itinerary highlights three major scenic wonders: snow-capped mountains and reflected lakes, Martian-like landforms, and a spectacular Milky Way, while also integrating diverse activities such as winter sports, hot spring wellness, and folk culture experiences.

The event also emphasized the functions and services of the "Smart Tourism Qinghai" public service platform and simultaneously released an overview and results of the 2025 China Featured Tourism Commodities Competition.

Chen Bin, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Tourism Commodities and Equipment Branch of the China Tourism Association, Executive Director of the Competition Organizing Committee, and Chief Judge, stated, "The products participating in this competition exhibit six major characteristics: cross-industry integration and development, ingenious market creativity, fashionable and innovative design, exquisite craftsmanship, popularization of green and healthy concepts, and a wide range of distinctive features."

"Tourism commodities are an important carrier for inheriting culture, telling stories, enriching experiences, and promoting consumption, and are also a key link in promoting the quality and efficiency of the cultural tourism industry," said Zhao Shulan, Vice Mayor of Xining Municipal People's Government, in her speech. She added that the hosting of the China Featured Tourism Commodities Competition in Xining, and its simultaneous launch with the province-wide, winter-spring cultural tourism benefit activities, is both a high recognition of Qinghai and Xining's cultural tourism resources and development potential, and a significant opportunity to promote the deep integration of the cultural tourism industry and achieve high-quality development.

To allow tourists to share in the fruits of cultural and tourism development, Qinghai Province has launched a number of preferential measures this winter and spring: a total of 6 million yuan in cultural and tourism consumption vouchers will be distributed through platforms such as UnionPay and Ctrip, covering A-level scenic spots, ski resorts, and hot spring health resorts; scenic spots open in the province during winter will simultaneously implement preferential policies such as discounted tickets, half-price tickets, off-season prices, and free admission, as well as waivers of scenic area bus fares, striving to provide tourists with a higher quality and more affordable winter and spring travel experience.
