Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – A grand celebration was held on Jalan Alor, a famous tourist area in Kuala Lumpur, to coincide with the Lantern Festival. Mr. Siaw Fei Hong, the nearly 70-year-old founder of the Malaysian Hongde Dragon and Lion Dance Association, personally performed the drumming to add to the festive atmosphere.

Tonight, Jalan Alor was brightly decorated for the Lantern Festival, attracting a large crowd. Local residents and foreign tourists alike stopped to watch the performances, take photos, and immerse themselves in the rich Malaysian Chinese New Year cultural atmosphere.

Mr. Siaw Fei Hong delivered a nearly three-minute drumming performance. His drumsticks flew, the drumbeats thundered, and the powerful rhythm captivated the audience, creating a climax to the performance.

In addition to the drumming performance, there were also spectacular high-pole lion and dragon dances. The lion dancers leaped and tumbled with superb skill, while the dragon, adorned with "fluorescent" lights, was dazzling. The female dragon dancers, in particular, were graceful and agile, performing just as well as the male dancers. Even members of other ethnic groups participated, showcasing the fusion of Malaysian multiculturalism.

A "Dragon Gate" segment was also set up, where two dragons leaped and intertwined to form a symbolic gate of good fortune, through which spectators passed in sequence, signifying continuous good luck in the new year.

As night fell, a dazzling fireworks display unfolded in the center of the Merdeka 118 skyscraper, with colorful fireworks illuminating the night sky and lighting up the entire city, eliciting gasps of amazement from the audience.

Amidst the resounding drumbeats, spectacular dragon and lion dances, and dazzling fireworks, this annual Lantern Festival celebration came to a successful close, adding a rich festive atmosphere to the Lantern Festival.
