Malaysia Airlines launches its first direct flight route between Kuala Lumpur and Da Nang.

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On September 24, Malaysia Airlines flight MH748, carrying 160 passengers on its direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Da Nang, Vietnam, landed at Da Nang International Airport.

  Leaders from the Da Nang City Tourism Department, the Central Airport Authority, and Da Nang International Airport, along with representatives from Malaysia Airlines, warmly welcomed the first passengers on this route.

  The Malaysia Airlines Kuala Lumpur-Da Nang route is operated by B737-800 aircraft, with seven flights per week, increasing the total number of flights between Kuala Lumpur and Da Nang to 28 per week.

  Da Nang City Tourism Department Deputy Director Chan Van Vuong stated that Malaysia has consistently ranked among Da Nang's top ten international markets. The opening of the new Kuala Lumpur-Da Nang route increases Malaysia Airlines' total number of flights from Kuala Lumpur to various destinations in Vietnam to 34 per week; he hopes that Malaysia Airlines, with its route network, will become a bridge for Da Nang's tourism market to expand to attractive destinations worldwide.
