  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – At the invitation of the Chinese President, U Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, paid a state visit to China. During his visit, U Min Aung Hlaing met with Wang Hao, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, at the Huajia Mountain Villa Hotel in Hangzhou.

  During the meeting, Wang Hao introduced Zhejiang as an important base for China's foreign trade, home to a large number of innovative and high-quality enterprises, and one of the most dynamic regions in China's economic development. In recent years, the friendly relations and cooperation between China and Myanmar in various fields have continued to deepen, and Zhejiang Province and Myanmar have made significant progress in exchanges and cooperation in economic, trade, and cultural fields. He stated that the Zhejiang Provincial Government will fully implement the consensus and agreements reached between the two countries, continuously promote exchanges and consultations, and further expand the scale of trade with Myanmar and deepen two-way investment cooperation.

  U Min Aung Hlaing stated that no matter how times and the national conditions of the two countries change, the friendship between Myanmar and China will always remain strong and continue to deepen. People-to-people exchanges are an important cornerstone for consolidating mutual trust in various fields between the two countries. He emphasized the need to further strengthen exchanges and interactions between the people of the two countries to make the foundation of friendship even more solid. The two sides also engaged in in-depth exchanges on deepening bilateral cooperation, focusing on areas of collaboration such as science and technology, textiles, agriculture, tea, and energy, as well as effective pathways to expand trade and increase investment levels, reaching numerous consensuses.

  Members of the Myanmar Presidential Delegation, Myanmar Ambassador to China U Zaw Win Myint, and relevant officials; Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ma Jia, and accompanying personnel participated in the meeting.

  Following the meeting, Wang Hao hosted a banquet for President U Min Aung Hlaing and his delegation, further enhancing exchanges and friendship in a friendly atmosphere.
