
Southeast Asia Information Harbor (www.dnyxxg.com) – To focus on the development trends of the education industry in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and share innovative teaching methods, the Global Education Innovation Forum (GEIF) under the RVi Group successfully held a series of events in Myanmar in March 2026. The first stop was in Mandalay on March 28th, concluding at the Zealax Hotel in Yangon on March 30th. With the core theme of "AI Empowering Education: Goal-Oriented and Ethical Teaching," the forum brought together educators from around the world to explore industry transformation.
The forum attracted representatives from various sectors, including internationally renowned experts and local education practitioners. They engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as "How Technology Reshapes Classroom Teaching" and "Core Needs of Future Education," aiming to build bridges for educational exchange between China and the world and promote the compliant integration of AI technology with teaching practices.
The forum boasted a distinguished lineup of international experts, including Benson Soong, founder of Advanced Education and a PhD from Cambridge University; Nigel Killick, founder and CEO of Reallyenglish and an MBA from Harvard Business School; and Wayne Schlegel, an international education consultant and graduate of both Yale University and the University of Norwich. These experts shared cutting-edge educational concepts and practical solutions with the audience, drawing on their research and practical experience.
During the forum, two prestigious awards were announced: the "Outstanding Educator of the Year Award," with each school eligible to nominate up to two teachers, the winner receiving a trophy, certificate, and a prize of 500,000 Myanmar kina; and the "Educational Innovation Award," recognizing outstanding schools that have integrated AI technology into teaching, implemented innovative teaching methods, and generated positive social impact in the educational process, thereby encouraging the education sector to continue exploring breakthroughs.
The 2026 Myanmar Education Innovation Forum, held in a two-city format, integrated high-quality educational resources from home and abroad, providing a platform for educators to exchange ideas and learn from each other, and injecting new momentum into the standardized and innovative development of Myanmar's education sector in the AI era.
