India's National Investigation Agency arrested seven foreign suspects on suspicion of plotting terrorist activities.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) recently conducted raids, arresting seven foreign suspects at airports in Delhi, Kolkata, and Lucknow. Among them are six Ukrainian citizens and one American citizen. The suspects are accused of conspiring to carry out terrorist activities against India.

  The investigation revealed that after entering India with valid visas, the suspects violated regulations by traveling to Mizoram state and crossing the border into Myanmar, where they made contact with a hostile ethnic armed group. Furthermore, the investigation found that the suspect group had repeatedly transported drones from Europe to this armed group, suspected of providing material support for terrorist activities.

  According to the Indian Express, all suspects have been extradited to Delhi, and judicial authorities have approved their remand until March 27. The investigation is ongoing.
