  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association (MCEF) announced the official launch of its first free training course on building renovation and masonry in Mandalay, with a planned total of 100 trainees.

  The training will last for one month, from February 18th to March 18th. The first training session has already commenced at the first teaching location, with an initial cohort of 20 trainees.

  Project team leader U Myo Nyunt, along with trainers U Khin Maung Min, U Khaing Zaw Win, U Phyo Lin Aung, and U Yen Naing, explained core industry content to the trainees, including training objectives, on-the-job training (OJT) systems, and trainee codes of conduct. Emphasis was placed on operational safety requirements, clearly stating that personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The course also covers specialized construction topics such as working at heights, electrical hazards, and equipment safety, as well as practical standards for housekeeping, waste management, emergency response, and safety communication (toolbox meetings).

  The project plans to conduct training at five locations, with 20 trainees at each location, ultimately aiming to train 100 people. According to the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association, the project aims to popularize construction technical knowledge and is open to all individuals with basic masonry skills.
