Major General Piye Soe Ne Lin, Commander of the Yangon Military Command, along with officials from various departments, student representatives, artists, and local residents, attended the ceremony to witness this moment of honor.
To safeguard the peaceful lives and working environment of people in various regions and states, ensure their safety, the integrity of their homes and property, and maintain national stability and regional peace, Myanmar military personnel have remained steadfast on the front lines, fighting day and night to resolutely repel terrorist attacks. At the ceremony, the Yangon Military Command Commander, officials, and representatives of the public warmly welcomed the victorious soldiers with lilac branches, garlands, and flowers, paying them their highest respect. The celebration was filled with enthusiasm, featuring cheerleading performances, traditional drumming, and lively dances, expressing heartfelt praise for the soldiers.
During the commendation ceremony, the Commander of the Yangon Military Region, on behalf of the military, presented cash awards to the returning soldiers in recognition of their outstanding achievements and sacrifices in counter-terrorism operations, inspiring all officers and soldiers to continue upholding their mission and protecting the nation.
