  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Myanmar's Acting President and Chairman of the National Security and Peace Council, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, attended the 2025 Myanmar Film Awards ceremony held at the Myanmar International Conference Centre (MICC I) in Naypyidaw and presented awards to the winners.

  At the beginning of the ceremony, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing unveiled the Film Academy Awards segment with a statue of an academy star. Following a performance by artists, a video titled "A Better Tomorrow" was played.

  In his address, the Senior General emphasized that film and culture are important components of nation-building, serving as bridges for the dissemination of local culture abroad and carriers of national spirit. He called on the entire society to protect and pass on tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Regarding national development, he mentioned the conclusion of the 2025 multi-party democratic elections and the imminent establishment of new institutions, thanking those who contributed. He stressed that democratization must be based on national conditions, adhere to the 2008 Constitution, and reject false incitement and individualistic behavior. He stated that the government will continue to support the development of the arts, urging practitioners to use their works to promote national spirit, disseminate knowledge, safeguard traditional culture, and resist negative foreign influences.

  Following this, the MMPO Chairman delivered a speech, and Federal Information Minister U Maung Maung Onn announced the list of recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award. General Min Aung Hlaing presented the awards to U Thang Aung (Swe Bamar), Du Chin Lai Shwe, and U Ki Soe Tun, and posed for photos.

  Fashion Awards: Naito (Senior Menswear), Medannu (Senior Womenswear), Kamminsan (Menswear), Yadana Bo (Womenswear)

  Key Performance Awards: Best Director: Awa Ratha (Byaw Than), Best Actor and Actress: Yadana Bo (Mount Miphaya), Myint Myat (Myayza), etc. The Indian Minister of Information and veteran film stars presented the awards as special guests, and the winners expressed their gratitude.

  General Min Aung Hlaing greeted the attendees, who were accompanied by his wife, Dujujula, Prime Minister U Nusso, committee members, federal ministers, and chief ministers of various states.
