Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – General Maung Maung Aye, a member of Myanmar's National Security and Peace Committee and Minister of Defense, recently visited Layse Township in the Naga Self-Administered Zone of Sagaing Region. Yesterday, he met with local officials and members of the Naga Traditional Literature and Culture Association at the Layse City Hall.
During the meeting, U Tun Tun Win, Chairman of the Naga Self-Administered Zone Administrative Authority, gave a detailed report on the region's administrative mechanisms, socio-economic development, and the progress of key projects. Representatives of the Naga Traditional Literature and Culture Association discussed key measures to be implemented in light of regional development needs.
General Maung Maung Aye coordinated the meeting's agenda and presented cash awards to relevant regional departments as encouragement.
After the meeting, General Maung Maung Aye, along with accompanying members of parliament, warmly greeted the local officials and members of the Naga Traditional Literature and Culture Association, conveying their care and support.
