Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On January 22nd, the Liuzhi Special Zone Youth League Committee and the Social Work Department of the Special Zone Committee, in conjunction with the Suojia Township Government, visited Shazi Village in Suojia Township to conduct a special outreach activity. They expressed sincere gratitude to the university student volunteers of the "Sand Spark Volunteer Service Team" and distributed notebooks, pencils, basketballs, and other supplies to over 50 children in the village, adding warmth to the winter countryside.

This winter vacation, the Shazi Village Committee and the resident work team, guided by the needs of the villagers and under the guidance of the Social Work Department of the Special Zone Committee, launched the "Worry-Free Holiday Care" public welfare childcare volunteer service activity, utilizing the village activity room. Twenty returning university student volunteers actively participated, providing children with academic tutoring, interest development, and other services. To ensure the safety of the volunteers during the service, the Social Work Department of the Special Zone Committee also purchased insurance for them, relieving their worries.

The distribution of supplies was filled with warmth; the children received their desired stationery and sports equipment, their faces beaming with bright smiles. "Thank you for your care, uncles and aunties. We will use these stationery items to study hard," a child said happily.

It is understood that the "Worry-Free Holidays Through Summer and Winter" public service has achieved uninterrupted coverage during summer and winter vacations. This summer, the village activity room transformed into a "summer paradise"; even during the winter vacation, it remained warm and welcoming. Children participated in activities daily, either reading quietly in the village library, receiving one-on-one tutoring from volunteers, or engaging in sports and recreational activities such as basketball and table tennis in the yard. The volunteer team tailored a diverse curriculum system around three core needs: "homework tutoring, interest expansion, and quality improvement." This system not only specifically addresses children's academic weaknesses but also incorporates scientific experiments, national defense education, and safety knowledge. Experts from the procuratorate and public security bureau were invited to give lectures, making the classes both informative and fun, thus fulfilling the volunteer service's original intention of "nurturing talent like pearls from rough stones."

This outreach activity not only fully affirmed the hard work of the volunteers, but also provided solid support for the continued development of the "Worry-Free Holidays Through Winter and Summer" public welfare brand. (Li Lei)
