It is expected to be completed and open for trial operation within a week. This "Third-Line" cultural experience project, centered on "collective memories of old places," will become a new landmark for Panxian residents' leisure and relaxation, allowing them to immerse themselves in the warmth and vibrancy of the 1980s.
According to reports, the "Time Courtyard" is designed around the theme of "collective memories of old places," conveying its emotional core through three themes: "Old Place Barbecue Courtyard" emphasizes the warmth of neighborhood life; "Time Courtyard" focuses on an immersive experience of instant time travel; and "Neighborhood Barbecue" emphasizes the cozy atmosphere of community gatherings. The courtyard is modeled after scenes of life in the 1980s, vividly recreating memories of that era.
Currently, "Time Courtyard" has completed site clearing, zoning planning, and the decoration of two exterior walls. It is expected to have 10 barbecue seats, accommodating approximately 80 people simultaneously.
Tian Qiaosheng, deputy general manager of the Panxian 671 Third Front Cultural Park, said, "The main purpose of creating the 'Third Front' Time Courtyard is to allow visitors to relive the atmosphere of the 1980s, awaken a generation's memories of the 'Third Front' era, and provide a good place for everyone to experience and feel the 'Third Front' culture in their leisure time."
The "Time Courtyard" is not only a dining space, but also a "time machine" carrying collective memories. After the project is completed, Panxian will have another new scene integrating cultural experience and leisure consumption, becoming a good place for citizens and tourists to experience the "Third Front" culture and reminisce about the golden years.
