The meeting thoroughly implemented the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief, and fully implemented the requirements of the national and provincial governments. It further mobilized, deployed, and implemented the city's prevention and response work to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
The meeting required: 1. Prepare for a Level IV emergency response, coordinate rescue forces, and ensure sufficient supplies for rapid deployment in case of emergency. 2. Strengthen overall coordination, effectively implement disaster prevention, meteorological analysis and early warning, strengthen patrols of frozen roads, and strictly enforce emergency duty and disaster information reporting. 3. Conduct advance investigations and rectification of hidden dangers, focusing on the structural safety of factories and agricultural greenhouses, investigating potential hazards in water, electricity, gas, heating, and communication facilities, and caring for vulnerable groups to ensure the public stays warm during the winter.
The meeting was held via video conference. Relevant officials from the disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief committees of various cities (special zones, districts) and the Liupanshui High-tech Zone, as well as responsible officials from relevant member units of the city's disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief committee, participated in the meeting.
