The festival will take place at the Thang Long Imperial City, the Temple of Literature-Imperial College, the Hanoi Museum, the Tonkin National School Square, and the Bát Tràng Pottery Village, connecting the city's millennia-old cultural heritage with its contemporary vitality.

The festival is hosted by the Hanoi People's Committee and organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, with collaborative participation from multiple domestic and international departments and institutions. The core aim is to promote the historical value and cultural charm of Hanoi's millennia-old heritage, clarify the core direction of revitalizing the city through culture, contribute to the implementation of the strategic goals of Hanoi Party Committee Action Plan No. 08, and closely align with the spirit of the Politburo Resolution No. 80 on cultural development.

As a core highlight of the event, a series of art activities will deeply integrate traditional heritage with modern technology to create an immersive cultural experience: A grand opening ceremony will be held at the Imperial City of Thang Long on the evening of September 11th, kicking off the festival; a contemporary music festival will be launched on September 12th, using trendy melodies to engage with tradition; an international artist exchange platform will be established on September 13th to promote cross-cultural exchange; on September 18th, the Tokyo Giju Square will host the "The Color of Hanoi" fashion night, showcasing the city's diverse character through clothing art; and on September 19th, the Potang Pottery Village will present the "Sounds of Pottery," a unique art performance that will resonate with intangible cultural heritage.

Meanwhile, the Temple of Literature-Imperial College and the Hanoi Museum will upgrade their heritage experience spaces, building a bridge between traditional heritage and contemporary life through innovative interactive formats, creating an immersive experience of "coexisting with heritage" for the public.

The organizing committee stated that this year's festival is committed to building an open and inclusive cultural exchange platform, allowing the value of millennia-old heritage to deeply integrate with modern innovative methods. The event is not only a grand showcase of Hanoi's cultural charm, but also aims to convey to the world the city's distinctive image as "deeply rooted, vibrant, innovative, and deeply integrated into the regional and international arena."

The event will officially conclude on September 20th and is expected to become a landmark cultural symbol of Hanoi, making a positive contribution to further promoting the city's vitality, creativity, and rich cultural heritage. (End)
