
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Following the successful inaugural "Angkor Writing Competition" held in Siem Reap Angkor Wat in 2023, the second competition will be held on January 19, 2025, and will be on a larger scale.
At a press conference on October 15, Lim Wen Hong, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the initiator of the event, stated that the second "Angkor Writing Competition" will still be held at the Rainbow Bridge in Angkor Wat, with a writing time of one hour.
Those interested in participating can register via Telegram at 092 33 76 26. A fee of 20,000 Cambodian Riel (approximately US$5) is required to receive a complimentary competition T-shirt. Registration is open from now until the end of the year and will close three weeks before the event. According to the original plan, the second event is expected to attract approximately 1,000 to 1,500 participants, exceeding the 500 participants of the first competition.

Lin Wenhong revealed that participants will be divided into two groups: those under 18 and those over 19, but the competition content will be the same.
Hua Chunji, Director of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, stated that the Ministry of Education has made technical preparations for the competition, and it will commence quickly upon arrival. The joint organizers of this event include the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Information, and the National Authority of Apsara.

This "Angkor Writing Activity" will provide a platform for art enthusiasts to showcase their talents, and we look forward to the enthusiastic attention and participation of more participants.
