Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – A Vietnam-Malaysia Food Festival and Cultural Exchange was recently held in Kuala Lumpur. The event was jointly organized by the Vietnam Trade Office in Malaysia, the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association, and the Malaysian event planning company DANG Production Bhd.
The festival featured over 100 Vietnamese food stalls, introducing culinary delights from North, Central, and South Vietnam to international and Malaysian friends. Dishes included pho, spring rolls, bread, beef patties, and broken rice.
Mr. Tengku Dato' Hishammuddin Zaizi Bin Azman Shah Alhaj, Director of the Malaysian multi-industry business group Ikhasas Group, stated that the event was very meaningful and helped to strengthen the relationship between Malaysia and Vietnam. He added that the event provided Malaysians with an opportunity to explore Vietnamese culture and cuisine.
Ms. Trần Thị Chang, representing the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association, emphasized the importance of the cultural exchange for the people of both countries. She expressed her hope that such activities would strengthen bilateral relations and open up new avenues for cooperation in trade, tourism, and investment.
It is understood that the Vietnam-Malaysia Food Festival and Cultural Exchange was held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, from November 27 to December 11. This is the second time that DANG Production Bhd, a Malaysian event planning company, has coordinated and organized a Vietnamese cultural introduction event in Malaysia, following its successful event last August.
