
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 3rd Ninh Binh Provincial Tourism and Culture Festival 2024, themed "Flow of Heritage," opened on the evening of November 24th at the Dinh Tien Emperor Square in Ninh Binh City. The festival will run until November 30th, featuring a variety of exciting activities.
In his opening remarks, Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Minister of External Relations, emphasized that this year's Ninh Binh Provincial Tourism and Culture Festival is a significant cultural and tourism event, showcasing the glorious milestones of various ethnic groups. He noted that this national-level festival, rich in ethnic cultural characteristics, showcases the unique features of different regions across the country and contributes to promoting cultural exchange and socio-economic development nationwide.
Minister Le Hoai Trung highly praised the achievements of Ninh Binh Province in recent years. He noted the province's rapid economic growth, with an average annual growth rate exceeding 8% to date; the industry and service sectors now account for 80% of the economy, truly becoming the driving force of growth; and tourism as a pillar industry, contributing to the rapid and sustainable transformation of the province's economic structure.
Pham Quang Ngoc, Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, stated that this year's Ninh Binh Cultural and Tourism Festival further affirms the province's determination and efforts in developing its cultural, entertainment, and heritage economies; it will help promote cultural exchanges between the province and other provinces and cities both domestically and internationally, create distinctive cultural products to attract tourists, strengthen unity, and promote peace, cooperation, and development.
The 3rd Ninh Binh Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Festival will be held from November 23rd to November 30th, featuring a variety of exciting activities, such as distinctive art performances showcasing the history of Vietnamese emperors throughout their millennia-long history of nation-building and defense, including the establishment, relocation, and finalization of the capital; a contemporary poetry exhibition, tea ceremony appreciation, poetry recitation, and traditional music experiences; a street carnival offering experiences of traditional handicrafts, traditional markets, ancient costumes, and street art; and electronic folk music concerts, among others.
