Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the evening of November 14, 2024, King Norodom Sihamoni presided over the opening ceremony of the Water Festival and personally lit up the illuminated boats, officially launching the series of celebrations, including a boat parade.
This year's Water Festival celebrations will be held from November 14th to 16th, with a grand dragon boat race taking place in front of the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh. A total of 346 dragon boat teams participated, with over 20,000 participants. In addition, 35 illuminated boats participated in the illuminated boat parade.
