Minister Wu stated that King Vajiralongkorn's recent successful visit to China at the invitation of President Xi Jinping, and the two heads of state charted the course for the next stage of China-Thailand cooperation, highlighting cultural exchange as an important aspect of this cooperation. With the joint efforts of both sides, the Bangkok Chinese Film Festival has become a major brand for China-Thailand cultural exchange, playing a unique role in deepening the understanding and friendship between the two peoples. Deputy Secretary Rani stated that Chinese films are intertwined with the childhood memories of many Thais. The film festival showcases a variety of excellent Chinese films, demonstrating China's development in the new era and the charm of traditional culture, further solidifying the concept of "China and Thailand as one family."
The film festival will run until December 14th, screening Chinese films including *Dongji Island*, *The Musician*, *Lion Boys 2*, *Detective Chinatown 1900*, *The Longest Day in Chang'an*, and *The Lychee of Chang'an*.
