Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) recently learned that the “Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit 2026,” jointly hosted by the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce (CCC), the Cambodia-ASEAN Business Advisory Council, and international business associations from multiple ASEAN countries, will be held from March 3rd to 4th at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Hotel.
The summit's core theme is “ASEAN Transformation: Innovation, Integration, and Industrial Evolution.” Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will be invited to attend and preside over the opening ceremony at 8:30 AM on March 4th.
This summit is timely, as ASEAN is consolidating its position as a global growth center. Senior government officials from ASEAN countries, ambassadors to Cambodia, representatives of relevant institutions, members of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, as well as executives from major multinational corporations and industry experts from the region will gather in Phnom Penh to discuss the blueprint for regional development. The summit's seminars will focus on the core theme, revolving around two main themes: first, exploring new drivers of growth, focusing on ASEAN's development potential and the "Cambodia Strategy," and discussing how to unleash regional development vitality through clean energy development, optimized land management, and the upgrading of high-value manufacturing; second, improving the regional collaboration system, covering customs process standardization, tax compliance construction, logistics system optimization, and cross-system connectivity, while also focusing on building an efficient financial system, strengthening transnational supply chain cooperation, promoting the coordinated growth of regional tourism, and the evolution of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in the context of modernization and its supporting role in future talent reserves.
This summit serves as an important window to showcase Cambodia's economic development potential and a key opportunity to deepen connectivity within ASEAN and promote regional industrial upgrading. Through in-depth dialogue and pragmatic exchanges, the summit will build broader cooperation bridges for ASEAN enterprises, helping all parties to jointly seize development opportunities brought about by global economic evolution and jointly address potential challenges.
