Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On February 9th, Park Joo-bong, Chairman of South Korea's Daejoo KC Group, visited the Cambodian Embassy in South Korea and held working talks with Cambodian Ambassador to South Korea, Khun Pheng Lodana. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on strengthening bilateral investment cooperation, optimizing the economic and trade environment, and objectively disseminating Cambodia's national image.
During the talks, Chairman Park Joo-bong announced plans to lead a delegation of approximately 20 South Korean investors and mainstream media journalists to Cambodia in mid-February.
The core purpose of this visit is to gain a deeper understanding of Cambodia's current business policies and market potential, seeking new growth points; and to showcase Cambodia's true face and social stability to the South Korean public and the international community through the lenses and pens of the accompanying journalists.
Ambassador Khun Pheng Lodana detailed the fruitful achievements of Cambodia and South Korea in economic and trade exchanges, cultural tourism, and people-to-people mutual benefit. Addressing the disruption to bilateral relations caused by previous cybercrime incidents, the Ambassador emphasized the series of strong measures taken by the Cambodian government to combat transnational crime, maintain social order, and restore bilateral trust.
Chairman Park Joo-bong expressed his high appreciation. He pointed out that South Korean society highly values its traditional friendship with Cambodia, and the South Korean business community fully recognizes the Cambodian government's determination and achievements in combating cybercrime. He emphasized that he hopes this visit will allow South Korean investors to witness firsthand Cambodia's safe and transparent investment environment. He also hopes the media will provide objective, truthful, and fair reporting to dispel misunderstandings and enhance South Korean public confidence in Cambodia.
