Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On February 9th, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sok Sokha led a high-level delegation to Turkey for a six-day official working visit (February 9th to 14th). The trip aims to further deepen strategic communication between Cambodia and Turkey in the security field and strengthen the exchange and mutual learning of bilateral public security governance experience.

During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Sok Sokha will hold high-level meetings with relevant Turkish officials. The two sides will engage in in-depth exchanges on several core issues, focusing on using advanced technologies to improve the effectiveness of public order management, strengthening cooperation mechanisms in combating transnational crime, telecommunications fraud, and illegal trafficking, and learning from Turkey's mature experience in emergency response and grassroots community security governance.

The Cambodian Ministry of Interior stated that Turkey possesses advanced practical experience in security management and social governance. Cambodia hopes that through this visit, based on learning from Turkey's experience in government administration, the two sides can reach in-depth cooperation agreements in practical areas such as personnel training, technology transfer, and joint operations.

According to the itinerary, the delegation will also conduct on-site inspections of Turkey's national security agencies and modern command centers to gain a deeper understanding of their operational models, digital management practices, and social security coordination mechanisms, providing a reference for Cambodia to optimize its domestic social governance and public security services.

This visit marks an important milestone in deepening bilateral relations between Cambodia and Turkey in the security and judicial fields. It will not only help enhance Cambodia's ability to maintain national security and public order but also inject new impetus into law enforcement and security cooperation between the two countries within multilateral frameworks.
