
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Cambodian Immigration Department recently conducted a special enforcement operation, repatriating a group of foreign nationals suspected of violating the Immigration Law. On January 31, 406 foreign nationals were deported according to law.
It is understood that this repatriation operation was carried out by a special task force of the Immigration Department. On the same day, law enforcement officers set up a special task force at Dr. Chong International Airport to complete the identity verification and departure procedures for the 406 individuals, and then orderly repatriated them to their countries of origin.

Official reports indicate that the repatriated individuals mainly engaged in illegal entry, illegal residence, illegal employment, and the use of counterfeit entry QR codes, involving nine countries: China, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Uganda, Nigeria, South Korea, India, Thailand, and Sierra Leone.

The Cambodian immigration authorities reiterated that they will continue to intensify their crackdown on illegal entry and residence, strictly implement national laws and regulations, and strengthen the defenses of social order and public safety. They also reminded all foreign citizens in Cambodia to strictly abide by local laws and legally reside and work with valid documents.
