  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Cambodia will host the Asian Youth Games 2031, according to a statement released by the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia on January 26.

  Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, stated that hosting the Asian Youth Games is a source of pride for Cambodia, noting that it is a highly prestigious regional multi-sport event attracting athletes from the 45 member National Olympic Committees of the Olympic Council of Asia.

  Vath Chamroeun emphasized that the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia will make full preparations to ensure the Games' success, viewing it as a significant milestone in the country's sporting development.

  Originally, Cambodia was scheduled to host the Asian Youth Games in 2029. However, at the suggestion of the Olympic Council of Asia, the Games have been rescheduled to 2031, changing the hosting cycle from once every four years to once every two years starting in 2029. (End)
