Phnom Penh Mayor Khun Sreng emphasized that relevant local authorities and functional departments must continuously and uninterruptedly ensure a good safety, order, and clean environment. The Mayor pointed out that a safe, clean, and orderly urban environment is a key factor in attracting domestic and foreign tourists for leisure and entertainment, and is of great significance to enhancing Phnom Penh's overall image and tourism competitiveness.

As residents and business owners have widely reported, the number of visitors to Phnom Penh Pedestrian Street is steadily increasing, rivaling the bustling scene of Cambodia's traditional Water Festival.
