
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On November 9, 2025, the Cambodian Anti-Cyber Fraud Committee Working Group, in conjunction with the Sihanoukville Provincial Police, conducted a raid on a building in Sangkat 4 of Sihanoukville suspected of being involved in cyber fraud activities. This joint enforcement operation was highly targeted and successfully dismantled this transnational cyber fraud criminal den.
During the raid, law enforcement officers arrested 263 people on the spot, including 17 women. These suspects were of diverse nationalities, spanning multiple Asian countries, specifically including 207 Chinese, 23 Bangladeshis, 11 Pakistanis, 7 Vietnamese, 6 Burmese, 4 Malaysians, 4 Nepalese, and 1 Laotian.
The enforcement team also seized a large quantity of tools and crucial evidence used in online fraud, including 860 computers and 4,129 mobile phones.

Currently, all 263 arrested individuals have been transferred to the General Department of Immigration and relevant law enforcement agencies for further investigation and legal processing in accordance with Cambodian laws and regulations.
This operation once again demonstrates the Cambodian government's firm resolve and strong law enforcement capabilities in combating transnational online fraud and maintaining social security and the rule of law.
