
According to the latest report released by the Cambodian National Police General Commissariat, during the three-day Water Festival (November 4-6) this year, a total of 13 road traffic accidents occurred nationwide, resulting in 5 deaths and 13 injuries.
The report details the daily accident situation: 7 traffic accidents occurred on November 4, resulting in 1 death and 11 injuries; 3 accidents occurred on November 5, resulting in 2 deaths and 1 injury; and 3 accidents occurred on November 6, resulting in 2 deaths and 1 injury.

The report indicates that the main causes of the traffic accidents included drunk driving, speeding, traffic violations, and vehicle overloading.
It is worth noting that in 2024, a total of 2,844 traffic accidents occurred in Cambodia, resulting in 1,509 deaths and 3,720 injuries.
