The report shows that on December 31, 2025, Guangdong Guanji Construction Co., Ltd. generated dust during the demolition of some buildings and land leveling work on the Nanzhou North Industrial Zone site in Haizhu District, affecting some surrounding businesses. At approximately 3:00 PM that day, after receiving complaints from the public, law enforcement officers from the Nanzhou Subdistrict Office quickly arrived at the scene and immediately ordered the construction company to stop work, explicitly requiring that it not resume construction without permission.
To actively respond to public concerns, on January 4, 2026, the Haizhu District Committee and District Government established a joint investigation team, led by the relevant district leader, with the participation of the District Housing and Construction Bureau, the District Urban Management Bureau, and the District Ecological Environment Bureau. The investigation team will conduct a comprehensive investigation and verification of the entire incident, and gain a detailed understanding of the impact on surrounding businesses, residents, and relevant units. The progress of the investigation will be promptly reported to the public.
