  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has filed a case for investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Yang Zhu, former Standing Committee member of the 13th Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and former director of the Education, Science, Health and Sports Committee.

  The investigation revealed that Yang Zhu had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, and resisted organizational review; disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, accepting banquets that could influence the impartial performance of his official duties; violated organizational principles, improperly seeking personnel benefits for others; breached the bottom line of integrity, accepting gifts that could influence the impartial performance of his official duties, and accepting money and valuables that clearly exceeded normal social etiquette; improperly performed his duties, improperly interfering in and meddling in market economic activities; lacked moral cultivation in his private life; used public power as a tool to seize personal gain, engaged in rampant power-for-money transactions, and used his position to seek benefits for others in medical equipment procurement, pharmaceutical supply, and project contracting, illegally accepting huge amounts of money and valuables.

  Yang Zhu seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, making his actions serious in nature and having a negative impact, warranting severe punishment. Based on the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials," after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, it was decided to expel Yang Zhu from the Party; the Guizhou Provincial Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his qualification as a delegate to the 13th Guizhou Provincial Congress of the Communist Party of China will be terminated; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution according to law, with all related assets transferred as well.
