On the same day, the Guangxi Overseas Chinese Business Association's Anniversary Celebration and 2026 Spring Festival Gala were held in Nanning. In her speech, Liu Yongmei stated that overseas Chinese-funded enterprises not only possess the vitality and creativity of the private economy but also carry unique advantages in bridging China and the world, making them an indispensable force for Guangxi's expansion of opening-up and deepening of cooperation.
Since 2025, Guangxi's economic operation has shown a trend of recovery and improvement, industrial structure upgrading, market expectations improving, and people's livelihood security strengthening. Liu Yongmei hoped that member enterprises of the Guangxi Overseas Chinese Business Association would demonstrate their responsibility in promoting industrial upgrading, participating in public welfare undertakings, and amplifying Guangxi's voice, thus contributing to Guangxi's high-quality development.
Chen Jieying, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (concurrently) and Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, introduced that in the year since its establishment, the Guangxi Overseas Chinese Business Association has achieved breakthroughs in serving the development of member enterprises, promoting economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges, as well as serving overseas Chinese and engaging in public welfare and charity. It has become a "vital force" for Guangxi's opening up to the outside world and a "booster" for industrial upgrading.

At the evening gala, art enthusiasts from the Guangxi Overseas Chinese Art Troupe and related overseas Chinese-funded enterprises performed on stage, offering New Year's blessings through songs, dances, short videos, and original situational dramas. Representatives from overseas Chinese-funded enterprises engaged in the artificial intelligence industry also participated in the performance with intelligent robots, interacting with guests and demonstrating the functions of their self-developed AI glasses.
