Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to a CNN report on July 30th, the US Central Command posted on social media that at 10 PM Eastern Time on July 29th, it "successfully launched a large-scale strike against Iran in response to a missile attack attempt against US forces." The US Central Command stated that the US military struck dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targets within Iran, including military command centers, missile and drone facilities, coastal surveillance and defense sites, and facilities related to maritime operations capabilities. This operation aimed to "further weaken the threat posed by Iran and its proxies to US forces, commercial shipping, and neighboring Gulf states."
The US Central Command also stated that more than 50,000 personnel are currently deployed in the Middle East, maintaining a high state of alert and ready for action.
According to previous reports, the US Central Command announced on July 28th that Iran launched a missile attack on US forces in the Middle East that day, and the US military intercepted all incoming missiles.
On the afternoon of the 29th, US President Trump told reporters at the White House that he would retaliate against Iran for its attacks on US troops stationed in the Middle East, threatening to "strike hard" at Iran "because now it's our turn to strike them."
On the 29th, the US Central Command also announced that the US military launched airstrikes against Iran at 8:00 PM Eastern Time on the 29th, thus ending the brief ceasefire that had begun on the 24th.
