According to reports from Israeli state news outlets and The Jerusalem Post, the IDF stated that on May 6th, local time, it launched an airstrike on Beirut, the Lebanese capital, killing Ahmed Ali Balout, commander of Hezbollah's Radwan Force. Additionally, Muhammad Ali Bazi, head of Hezbollah's Nasser Force intelligence, and Hussein Hassan Romani, Hezbollah's air defense observer, were also killed in Israeli attacks over the past week.
The IDF revealed that in the past week, it targeted over 180 Hezbollah-owned infrastructure sites, including Hezbollah command centers, weapons depots, and rocket launchers in southern Lebanon.
Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Zamir stated on March 6 that the Israeli military has killed over 2,000 Hezbollah militants in Lebanon since March 2.
